cannot connect ODBC

Been using Access for many years.
Upgraded to Access 2003.
Tried linking with ODBC. Something I've done a hundred times.
MENU > File > Get External Data > Link
In the dialog box, I select ODBC...
Dialog box just closes! Does not let me select an ODBC source.

What's wrong?

Found it...
Norton AntiVirus > Options > Miscellaneous > Disable "Turn Office PlugIn On"
Reboot Access
Done!
