cannot configure fax console

when I try to have fax console configure to my internal
modem, the message replys "There are currently no modems
installed on this computer" and when I try to install,
Plug & Play does not detect modem. Meanwhile, I can use
modem to go on-line and I am sure my modem is a fax modem.

.
In device manager, check to see if another modem is
showing or your modem has "#" next to it. If so, remove
the Fax software, uninstall the modem & reboot. It will
reinstall, and then re-set up the fax. This also happened
to me. Good Luck

- Does the modem show up in the list? If not then try unplugging and
plugging modem back. If the modem shows up as driver not updated, update the
modem driver.

Thanks,
Anand
