Cannot Change Reply Email Address or Passwords

Outlook 2003 on Windows XP SP3, logged in as Administrator

I have setup my email accounts in Outlook 2003 but made an error with one of
my "Reply to": addresses. I can edit and correct the email address for the
current session, but after a reboot the incorrect Reply To address returns. I
have the same problem with passwords stored by Outlook.

Also, I can delete email accounts or add new ones in the current session,
but all such changes are lost on a computer reboot.

I don't know if it is related or not, but I the same sort of problem occurs
with the default startup settings in MS Word or MS Excel.

Any clues to as to the source/fix of this problem will be appreciated.

Why are you using a Reply To at all? Don't you want people to reply to the
address you use to send mail?
