Cannot add XP workstation to an SBS 2003 domain

I have been trying to add a computer with a "clean" XP SP2 installation to an
SBS 2003 domain. It seems that the configuration completes on the server but
the workstation returns an error that it cannot find the domain controller.
What leads me to believe that the server side completes is that the
computer's name in the AD.

On the workstation during the process of adding the computer to the domain,
the network connection seems to "bounce" which causes to process to fail on
the workstation, leaving it as part of a Workgroup.

For laughs I tried to add a completely different computer to the same domain
an I was completely successful.

Does anyone have any ideas what is going on here?
