Cannot add printers in OU

I have just move my lan to AD.
Now I need to install network printers.They are installed
in the lan and identified with an IP address.I went on the
DC add one printer and create a new port with the
printer's IP address.I have shared it and checked the box
List in the directory.

I can see the printer , his status is ready, I can print
from the server.

But when I try to add it in an OU I have the following
msg : This printer cannot be publish.To publish printers
on windows 2000,use printers folders.
So that I already did.

I think I have forgot something but I cannot find what.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do, but if you can search the AD for the
printer, it's published. In order to see the printer object:

I have the same problem ,can't find the printer anywhere.
