What client fax software are you using?
What server fax service are you using that permits sharing?

The fax service supplied with both Windows 2000 and Windows XP are single
user, stand alone services that CANNOT be used with networked fax machines.
The only "group faxing" this service supports is the Shared Fax Service
provided by Microsoft Small Business Server and Windows Server 2003 where it
can act as a client.
