cannot access certain websites.

when using Internet explorer, I am unable to access sites
such as online banking. I get the "the page cannot be
displayed" page. Could that be a security issue? I have
tried resetting my options and such but am stuck.

Also, For some time now I cannot access any website ending
in msu.edu. IT doesn't give me a "the page cannot be
displayed" page, it jsut won't connect to anything or do
anything. This happened all of a sudden, several months
ago. I have reset all my internet options and have tried
every option/setting I can.
These MSU sites are also unavailablewhen I use Netscape
and telnet, so it is not a IE thing, but maybe you can
help anyway.

Try this, your security settings may have been
inadvertently changed as mine were.

Go to Tools. Click on Internet Options. Click on the
Advanced tab. Scroll down to Security. Make sure that
ALL of the following boxes are checked off: _Use SSL 2.0,
_Use SSL 3.0, _Use TLS 1.0

For some stupid reason, the security setting was changed
WITHOUT my knowledge. Good luck!
