Cannot access amazon.co.uk or amazon.com

I have a user who cannot seem to be able to access the above mentioned sites.
Everyone else can from their PC, but she cannot. She can access any other
sites.

Yesterday she ran a scan and found adware istbar along with a mytob virus
which were removed as per Symantec's instructions. I have since run a full
NAV scan, cleared cache and temporary iE files. I have also run MS
antispyware, without any joy.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Three things to try:

1. Clear your TIF and History completely:

2. Check the user account's Cookies folder and delete any cookies that
relate to the sites in question.

3. Check the Hosts file as per this article:

There were entries in the hosts file, which I have removed and all is working
well.
