Can you "Save As" a Task in 2007

Outlook 2007

Can I create a Task (no dates filled in, but certain boilerplate
reminder text entered into the main window), and then "Save As" a
template or read-only file, so that I can re-use and re-save the Task,
much as a Word read-only file?

It's not really a Recurring Task. Each specific instance of the Task
would have a different Subject, slightly different reminder text, and
different reminder dates. Basically I'd like to have a simple
boilerplate to use over and over.

Thanks.

You can save the item as an *.oft file (click the big round 'Office Button'
in the upper left corner); or save it in a task folder and make a copy of it
everytime you want to create a new task based on the template.

Thanks. I prefer the first method.

Now, if I open the .oft, adjust the text, and Save, the Task gets
saved in the main Tasks folder. Is there any way to set the default
location to a subfolder within Tasks? Or to save it to that folder
using Save As?
