Can you help plz

i have been recently trying to install a game and about a month ago my other
settlers worked fine on my comp but now i have been trying to load that same
one aswell as the new gold edition and it goes all the way right thru to
installing a shortcut to desktop then when i clik to play it i recieve this
following message:

Headline of it says: S4_Main.exe - Fatal Error
Then it states underneath: Fatal error - Exception 0xc0000094 at 0x004e33f6!

that is also how it is displayed i have just today installed a new driver
and still it says this can you tell me what i need to do to fixz this and b
able to play my games.

I just did a google search and came up with this

If this game was made to run on an older version of Windows (95, 98) then
you could also try to enable Windows 95 Compatibility with the program. Find
this program in 'Program Files' right click on S4_Main.exe and choose
Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab and check the box that says "Run This
Program in Compatibility Mode for:
and then choose Windows 95/98 - whatever OS the game was made for. Click on
Apply then OK.
