I have a rather annoying problem. Our company for the most part uses cached
mode in Outlook 2003. We have Exchange 5.5, and will upgrading maybe this
year to Exchange 2003. I have noticed that when I enter a new mailbox in
Exchange, or make changes to an existing one (like a name change), it will
take several days for the change to take effect in users' cached GAL's. On
the server its fine (I dont use cached mode so that I can make sure
everything is working correctly).
Is there a way to force the cached information to update on a user's PC?
Or, what file format is the cached information stored in on the PC's?
Just as a note, the Exchange services are shut down every night for a
backup, so that does happen in case that information is helpful to anyone.
Thanks a bunch in advance!
