Can you alphabetize a distribution list?

No you can't - it all depends on the way you originally entered your list.
If you want it alphabetized, it must be originally entered this way.

For me, DLs are always alphabetized no matter what the entry order of the
members. Just click the Name field column header to sort them in either
ascending or decending order.
