Can Windows Movie Maker increase playback speed?

hi! I was wondering if WMM had a function where you could change the playback
speed of the footage that you've put into the program. i.e, playing back 50%
faster

it comes with a Speed Up - Double effect that you can add to any clip up to
6 times to make it go faster, faster, etc....

then you can do custom xml effects to speed it up any percentage you want,
but it might be a little learning on your part to do it.
