Can the mapping of a table linked to another database be modified?

I've just moved two databases to a folder on a network drive for testing: one
is a database of service requests, which contains several tables linked to a
contacts database. When the first tester created a new service request and
tried to select a contact, she got a message that the path to the contacts
database was not valid. With a look at Linked Table Manager, I saw that
linking the tables had recorded my path to the network drive is H:// (hers is
different), and when I re-imported/linked the tables again, nothing changed.
We opened the db from a shortcut (which has as its command line
\\Mvnf02\CSENET\Service Request Database) and from the database directly.

Is there a place where one can change the path to a UNC path or is there
another approach that must be taken? Surely would appreciate help. I'm
stumped.

Susan,

Wen first linking a table, or changing the link through the linked table
manager, don't use the mapping; go through My Network Places / Network
Neighbourhood (depending on your version of Windows) instead. This will
record the UNC address in the link.
