Can ping but not see folders on network

P

Peter

I am using a desktop with XP Pro and a laptop with XP Home and a wireless
connection to the router from the laptop.
I have run the network wizard on both computers. I can see both listed in
"workgroup computers" and can ping both.
However, I cannot access drives and folders. I do not have any firewalls in
operation.
The message I get is: "main\c is not accessable -----" and, below that, "Not
enough server storage is available to process this command"
I have run the network trouble shooter with no success.

Thanks Richard.

I can see and access drives on the desktop now. One further problem though.
The folder I need to access (and used to access all the time) is the "my
documents" folder. I no longer have access to that folder. How can I gain
fix this?

If you're using Simple File Sharing in your network that will prevent
sharing of certain folders on the network.
