Can ping but can't RD

Recently, I had to change the static IP address of a remote computer. I can
ping the remote PC, but can't RD into it. I've tried remote registry and it
doesn't connect, so I can't make any changes. Before I made IP change,
everything was fine. I even called a user in the remote location and walker
her through the remote desktop options in the "My Computer" properties &
Windows Firewall. Is there anything else I'm missing? Or what can cause this?

FYI: the machine I'm connecting from is a Win2K3 Standard Server and the
remote PC is a WinXP SP2. There are two other remote PCs in the remote
office, both of which I can successfully RD into. Also, and this is probably
that much more obvious, the remote office is on a different subnet than the
one I'm on.

Thanks in advance to any suggestions/resolutions.

Assuming you have a router in the remote office, have you modified the prod forwarding since you have changed the IP?

Mr. Lin,
I don't know what "prod forwarding" is. But in regards to the router
assumption, yes. I have the router configured to allow the RDP port 3389.
This is where I'm confused. How can I RD into two out of three machines? They
are all the same model and image.

Sorry. I mean port forwarding. If you need to access more than one computer, you may use different port for the second one. This link may help,
