Can only type emails in Plain Text

For some reason when I go to reply to an email, forward,
or even compose an email, I can't even click in the box
to type anything. I have to switch the setting to plain
text in order to type anything. Does anyone else have
this problem with internet explorer 6 or know how to fix
it?
