Can one have two firewalls going/enabled at the same time?

Hi
Can I enable the XP firewall and my Trend Micro anti
virus firewall at the same time or will this cause a
conflict between the two systems? Thanks.

Only use one firewall program. More than one will cause conflicts
and error messages.

Only use your Trend firewall. The XP firewall only works for incoming
intrusions. It does not stop any malware from sending out from your PC.
Trying to use both may cause conflicts and is pointless anyway.

You can, but you shouldn't. There is no advantage to running both
and you might run into a conflict. Turn off the XP firewall.
