Can not send e mails from Outlook Express

Hi,

I would appreciate if anyone can help me to solve my following problem with
e mails and OE.

I have Outlook Express 6 and WindowsXP with SP2 installed.
I can not send any e mails from my outgoing smtp server.and get the messege:

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'pophm.sympatico.ca', Server:
'smtphm.sympatico.ca', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '500 Unsupported
command.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 500, Error Number:
0x800CCC62

I can receive my emails in OE with the same email ID from the Incoming POP3
mail server.
I have Nortan Antivirus Prog set up for email scanning ON and also have
Router installed. So shall I have to change anything with my servers
configuration?
Thanx.

This may mean that you need to use your ISPs outgoing SMTP server instead of
the server of your web site's domain name. As a security measure your ISP
requires that you use their server, which is different than your POP3
server.

I tried different options but failed.I can get the mailsbut can not send.
Thanx anyway.
