Can not print text.

I have a HP LaserJet 3100 printer. Until a few days ago, it printed just
fine. I am using Windows XP Professional. I can print just fine directly from
the printer. When printing from the computer, I can only print pictures and
logos that are embedded in a text document. I tried printing from notepad.
The printer responds by pulling a piece of paper through the printer but
there is no print on the paper. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked the printer properties and preferences to make sure
that one of them hasn't been changed? Another option would be to
reinstall the printer using a different name and see if that fixes the
problem.

You have two threads open regarding the same issue.. one you posted
yesterday which people are responding to and one you replied to today (this
one) which people also are responding to. Makes things kind of confusing.

....and have you contacted HP yet, as I suggested in your other thread?

-- I removed the driver and then reinstalled the driver. Now I am able to
print. Thanks for the help.
