Can not open up data sheet in powerpoint by double clicking

When trying to open the datasheet it says you have to
reinstall application server file. Then when you try and
copy a slide from this one slide it message a MS097.dll
missing. I tried a restore from earlier version and it
does the same thing. Is it corrupted beyond a fix.

By "datasheet" I presume you mean when trying to open a grpah? If so, this
