Can I use Windows Movie Maker 2.1 to import DVD and crop from it?

I'd like to crop parts from a DVD video file with extention .VOB. Can I do
this via Windows Movie Maker? The option 'Import video' doesn't work with
this type ot files.

Hi -- I can't answer your question right now, but I have the same problem
downloading from my camcorder, they download as uneditable .vob files...
someone told me that you can get .vob converters on the internet... just put
a google search in for that -- then you can convert them to -- sorry I am not
sure as I haven't looked yet -- but then you should be able to import them.

you need to do a file conversion first.... there's a number of utilites that
can help

check my Import Movie Source Files > Video > Discs page for a couple options
