Can I use ODBC to link to an FTP site?

I'm struggling with a low cost WAN. I have an Inventory
database that i would like to share amongst three
locations. The VPN thing is becoming quite a handful. I
was wondering if I could build a DSN using ODBC that I
copuld link to my web sites FTP address? This way I
could just distribute the front-end of my database and
leave the tables on my Host's server?

You would have to switch to SQL Server (or MSDE) to use a link over the
Internet usin ght IP address of the server.

Access cannot link via ftp.

Sharepoint services might be another option if you are familiar with that
technology.
