Can I use a [form]![field] as criteria in a crosstab?

I want to use a [form]![form1]![Fieldname] as criteria for a when clause in a
crosstab query. As soon as I make the select query a crosstab, it no longer
recognises the field in the form.
Any suggestions? (Other than creating different queries depending on the
form field)

Form references do work in crosstabs but you have to open the parameters list
and enter them in there with an explicit DataType. Also same for any queries
that feed into crosstabs.
