Can I stop mail I have rules for that are going to Junk folder?

Some, not all, of the mail which I have set up rules for gets to folders I've
created as per the way rules were set up. However, some is getting to the
Junk Email folder. Other that turning off the Junk Mail filter (not an
option) is there any way to get the rules to apply before the Junk mail rules
kick in? Thanks in advance for your assistance. ;-)

The other rules do apply before the Junk Mail rule is applied, but if a
message fits both rules, the last one on the list will be the one that takes
precedence. To fix this, add "stop processing more rules" to the earlier
rules, so the messages never make it down to the Junk Mail rule.

I did as instructed, but still have emails going to Junk Email folder. When
I do "Run Rules Now" on Rules & Alerts menu after clearing other folders,
items move to correct folders. Any other suggestions?

Is it possible that those messages match the criteria for Junk Mail as well
as the other rule criteria? When you run only the rules you've checked in
Run Rules Now, the junk mail rule doesn't run against those mesages at all,
so that could explain why doing it that way produces a different result that
when the rules run automatically.
