Can I show two slides at a time?

I'm setting up a training presentation with Portrait-oriented slides. I want
to have it display two slides at a time, sort of like an open book. Is there
any way I can display two portrait-oriented slides at a time during the
slideshow?

Not that I know of. You could save all the slides as images (file -> save
as -> jpg) then put 2 images on each slide in a new presentation I suppose.
Personally, I would only want one slide showing at a time so the audience
could concentrate on what I was talking about at the time rather than
skipping ahead/getting confused. But I'm sure you have a reason
