Can I make a PCI card that has Base Class Code =0 as an network card?

Hi All,

Our ASIC group had made a mistake that the Class Code has
hardwired to 0 in our PCI Network Ethernet Processor.

The PCI Class Code =0 is for device was built before Class
Code definitions were finalized. Ref. PCI Revision 2.2

Question:

Can I test a Windows NDIS network Miniport driver with the
chip that has Class Code value equal to zero?

If I can, please tell me how.

Please advice.

Thank.
