Can I import records from Filemaker Pro into Access?

My computer has just been converted to a Windows environment from a Mac and
this means that we need to either purchase FileMaker Pro for Windows or
switch to Access, which I am personally more familiar with. The deciding
factor will be whether or not I can convert the existing records in FileMaker
Pro to Access records as there is in excess of 10,000.

AFAIK, Access cannot import from Filemaker Pro directly.

You need to export from FileMaker Pro into a format that Access can use, and
then import into Access.
