Can I hide meeting details from others when they are scheduling?

When scheduling a meeting, I am able to see the details (notes) of other
peoples meetings. Is there a way to prevent that? Using Outlook 2003 and
Exchange 5.5

I think you mean that you see their appointments in the Schedule as an open
blue box with writing in it??

That means that they have given you permission to see their calendar
details. You can stop showing the details by clicking on a button at the
bottom of the Meeting's Schedule screen - Options, show calendar details.
