Can i extend the number of appointments to 10 days shown on startu

On the outlook today front page I would like to see at least 10 days ahead
and not just 7 as shown when in the 'customize outlook today' section. Is
this possible?

The display of the number of days is controlled by the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Today

Goto thi location and then right click on the string value "CalDays" and click on Modify. Here, enter the number of calendar days you want to see.

I cannot get Outlook Today to even display 7 days, let alone 10. It shows me
4 full days and part of the 5th day and that is it whether I tell it 5, 6 or

Click Start>Run and enter "regedit". Click OK. Browse to the registry key
named in the message you quoted and make the change. See this:

Thanks Brian...I was able to figure it out and tried to change mine to 10,
but it did not change anything. I am using 2007 and would be happy if 7
showed up, but 5-1/2 is the most it will show whether I have 6 or 7 entered.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to set it to larger numbers. I'll check at home where my
OL 2007 is.

I've verified that you can certainly set larger numbers by changing CalDays
in the registry with OL 2007. I set mine to 30.

Where is the key registry located in the case that 'Office' is not followed
by the option 10.0 but by a set of options which includes 12.0 and 8.0? Does
the string value in such a case have a name other than 'CalDays'?

No, it's the same but you'll be using 12.0 then as it is for Outlook 2007.
Version 10.0 stands for Outlook 2002/XP.

I selected 12.0 as you suggested. But unfortunately I cannot see a display
for 'Today' anywhere. And a search that I undertook in the registry for
'CalDays' was unproductive. Consequently I'd be grateful for more advice.

You'll have to create the key manually with its correct value if it does not
exist yet.
