can I do a "run as" like in WinXP in Win2000?

I like the ability to run an application in Win2000, w/o logging out of the
users login. In Win XP I can do a "run as" I type in my admin password, and
I can run the new install or update. In Win 2000, I have to log off the
user, log on as administrator, and the do the install/update. Please tell me
there is such a feature in Win2000, and I just need your help.......Peter

Yes, Win2000 has a "run as" feature. To use it one a specific file, hold
down the shift key and right-click on the filename. The context menu will
include the "Run as" option. Click that, fill in the boxes, and you're in
business. Search "runas" in Windows Help for further information.
