Can I create a custom signature with my own logo in Outlook 2002?

Duane

I've tried searching everywhere to get instructions on how to create a
signature in Outlook 2002 (Office XP Pro) -- but I'm at the end of the
frustration point!!

Does anyone know if it is possible to include my logo (a 250 pixle .jpg) and
some text in a signature. I tried doing it in Word (using the create an
e-mail signature instructions etc. and the text came up, but the graphic had
an X in it -- it was not there!

If there any settings in Outlook 2002 that I need to do or any specific
step-by-step instructions...it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks much!

In Outlook click on Help / Contents and Index and type in Signature as the
search item. I forgot how I made mine in Outlook since I normally use
Outlook Express instead and have created lots of signatures as .htm files.
You can even import animated .gif file. I think I created the .htm file in
Outlook Express and then imported in into Outlook using Tools / Options /
mail format / and at the bottom for Signature I browsed to that saved .htm
file and imported it. (In Outlook when you browse you don't see the .htm
suffix). At the top of that page you have to select HTML format for your
messages to use animated signatures.

If you need instructions on how to make the .htm file to import let me know.
