Can I change between PowerPoint loop custom shows while running.

I have a looped 36 slide show that I would like to break in the middle so the
first 18 run as a loop until I strike a key or click a mouse and change to
the second 18 and run them as a second loop.

See "powerpoint tutorial" on how to loop a set of slides - but not all of
them - and break out of the loop at the press of a key.
