Can I add PowerPoint to a basic version of Office 2003?

I have Office Basic on my home computer and now my 10 year old daughter wants
to produce Power Point presentatuions for her homework. Can I buy and use
Powerpoint 2007 without buying a complete new Office 2007 suite? Help! My
daughter's computer doesn't have Office, just Word, so I'm assuming that I
can't instal PowerPoint on that. Any help gratefully received. Thanks

I'm not completely certain of my facts here but I think this is correct.

It is possible to buy a PowerPoint upgrade but at least in the UK it is at
least as cheap to purchase the Home and Student edition of Office which would
also include Word Excel and Onenote for 3 computers
