Can I add additional placeholders to a master slide?

In my business, "Quad" slides are very popular. There are layouts that allow
up to four objects on a slide, but there is nothing that allows four text
boxes and/or four placeholders on a master slide. Apparently there is no way
to copy or add a placeholder in PowerPoint. Does anyone else face this type
of issue?

Brian,

you can add neither placeholders nor slide layouts. But you can add two
textboxes to a slide with two text placeholders, type one word of sample
text into them and save this as a sample slide with your template. Whenever
you need a "Quad" slide, you do not insert a new slide but copy this sample
slide.

Kind regards,
Ute Simon
