can anyone tell me what and where the formula bar is and what is

I am learning how to do spreadsheets at adult learning classes, a question i
havent a clue about is "what is written in the fomula bar"? Can anyone tell
me where the formula bar is please

The formula bar shows the contents of cells.
It can be used to enter values or formulas in cells.
It is located just above the worksheet window and begins with an Fx button.

If you cannot see it, try this from the Excel main menu:
Tools>Options>View tab
Check: Formula bar

The formula bar is above the spreadsheet, and occupies most of the width of
the Excel app.

It should be visible, if not juts check menu option View>Formula Bar.

When a cell with a formula is active, that formula shows up in the formula
bar. You can edit that formula by hitting the F2 key.
