Can anybody explain to me in simple English..........

I cannot open up my 'Microsoft Office Outlook'. It is now next to my clock
bottom right and when I click on it the message is:

"Outlook is not responding. If you are using an Exchange server e-mail
account, you can cancel pending server requests by clicking the Outlook icon
in the notifications area, and then clicking Cancel Server Request on the
shortcut menu"

Ok, looks fairly easy instructions to follow, the only problem is I'm not
that clued up when it comes to computers. Can anybody explain to me in simple
English what exactly I have to do to rectify this problem, and get my Outlook
back to how it was?

Do you need to connect to an Exchange server? If not remove you're e-mail
profile and create a new one with the correct account type and server
settings. Contact your ISP or administrator if you do not know these. To
remove your profile go to;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...
