Can an author revise a revision without deleting the orig. rev.

I have a document that has been revised by several users including myself.
Now I am trying to "revise" the "revision" and I want all changes to be
tracked. When I try to revise what I orginally put in as a revision it
deletes my original revision. How can I save (track) all revisions?

You need to go to Tools/Options/User Info and change your name. This is what
Word uses to track reviewers.

I have this same issue except another user made the revision and as the
Author of this document I am unable to undo his changes. Every time I undo
the changes all of the strikethrough is deleted. He has also deleted tables
which I cannot seem to bring back.

I'm not sure I fully understand the situation, and you don't mention the
versions of Word involved in the problem, which doesn't help. But if the
document has been edited in different versions of Word, or has become damaged,
you may not have as fine a control over revisions/tracked changes as you
normally would.

You may need to accept all the changes in this document, then compare/merge it
with the backup copy of the original so that you can selectively accept/reject
changes made.
