Can also not access "Options" tabs!

In Excel when we go into Tools...Options and we are
getting the error message

MICROSOFT EXCEL HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO
CLOSE. WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

Yes, in fact, it's an inconvenience - can somebody help
please!
