Can access one PC but not the other

I have two PCs both running XP Pro. I'm sure it's not the best but I'm
working as the Administrator on both system. Both Admin passwords are the
same on both systems. From Machine 2 I access Machine 1 via \\machine1\c$ it
displays the content fine. But from Machine 1 trying to access Machine 2
\\machine2\c$ it wants be to enter a password and the User Name is grayed
out but I can see it has machine2\Guest filled in. What gives? What do I
need to change on Machine 2 to premit access from Machine 1?

Hi,
It seems to me like "simple file sharing" is enabled on machine 1.
Follow this URL and follow the instructions to disable simple file sharing.
