Camera Help...!!!!!

I just came back from a trip, and wanted to upload my pictures. I plugged in
the USB cord to my digital camera as I always do, and a little yellow box
popped up at the bottom saying that the computer doesn't recognize it and it
won't work..It's weird because I use it all the time, I was only gone for 6
days, and now its saying this. What do I do ?????????????????????

The hardware and/or Device manager is where I'd begin my search to detect
what might have gone kablooey, but that's just a personal opinion.

The 'other' short 'n sweet version is: get yourself a card reader.
