Calendar won't archive

I have a user who cannot archive his Calendar items. He can archive
his inbox and sent items etc. I've recreated his Outlook profile, set
up a new archive pst, reinstalled Outlook. I've had our Exchange
Administrator look at the account - nothing amiss. He is running
Outlook 2000 SP1. Is there some arcane Client rule setting that is
preventing his Calendar from archiving?

Check the Last Modified date on the Calendar items -- that's the date
Outlook checks to see if an item is ready for archiving. If the items
were moved, or imported from another location, or some other action was
taken on them recently, the modified date may have been changed.
