In my calendar I can see from 7am till 22.00 even though I've set my working
day from 8am till 5pm. Is there any way to change the view so I don't see
that extra time?

How many hours you see is based on the time scale you use and the size of
your calendar window. If you use 1 hr increments, switch to 30 min.

Non-working hours cannot be hidden. They will be colored differently, but
that's all.
