Calendar not migrating properly from different computer

I am moving my outlook data from a laptop on a corporate environment using an
Exchange server. I always had my data available off-line in an .ost file,
which was synched up regularly.

I managed to find an ost2pst.exe to run because Outlook 2007 does not seem
to have a way to upload an .ost file directly

It worked pretty well for the most part. With one major exception:
NONE OF MY CALENDAR INFORMATION SHOWED UP!

Any ideas what I can do? I assume that the calendar information is in the
..ost file.

I used the ost2pst converter from here:

Perhaps it has some bugs?

Is tehre a way to get the .ost file to load directly into 2007 Outlook?

If you're using the Exchange server, there's nothing to do, since both PCs
will reference the same mailbox and see the same data. I don't think you're
being accurate in descriing what you're doing. The OST file is NOT the
Exchange server.

On the old PST that is connected to the Exchange server or can work offline
and access the OST, simply create a PST and copy the default fodlers to that
new PST. Transfer that PST to the new PC and add it to the mail profile
there. All done. No OST2PST needed.

is converted into an .ost file.

I tried in vain to find an existing .pst. I looked all over for
documentation this, I searched my C drive for all the .pst's and did not find
anything. This is why I tried the ost2pst.

If the .pst file is on the exchange server, then maybe I need to ask a
sysadmin to give it to me? Surely that should be unnecessary, given that the
..ost should have all that is required. It would seem more sensible for
Outlook to import .ost files.

Transfer that PST to the new PC and add it to the mail profile
there. All done. No OST2PST needed.

Is it documented anywhere how to do this? I could not find anything.

I failed to mention that I left my old corporate environment and am no
longer using any Exchange server. So methinks there actually IS something to
do. I can still access the Exchange server, but only for a short period of
time, then I'm cut off. so I want to sort this out ASAP.

The OST is a cache that usually reflects the contents of the Exchange
mailbox. It allows one to reference messages while disconnected from the
Exchange server or it enhances the performance of the user interaction with
Exchange by synchronizing in the background the contents of the mailbox and
the OST. One can, however, still operate with an Exchange account and not
have an OST at all.

What I meant to type, instead of "on the old PST that is connected to the
Exchange server" is "on the old PC that is connected to the the Exchange
server". Sorry for the confision.

How to connect a PST to a mail profile is documented in multiple places,
including Outlook's Help, I believe. You first must have a PST, though.
What I was suggesting is that there's no reason to need an OST to PST
converter, if you sill have the original mail profile with the Exchange
account still in it. You can use that to create a PST containing the
contents of the OST.
