Calendar - highlighting current day

Outlook 2003, but also previous versions.

I have the calendar set to display the monthly view. (view month)

I want to have the current day stand out a LOT more, at present all that
happens is that the top of the day is displayed as an light orange bar on
yellow background (default settings).

With all the other appointments and reminders etc set this is extremely
difficult for me to pick the current day on the calendar.

Is there some setting so that I can set the current day to display with a
different background or brighter colour across the top or something????

Thanks

This does help and I had looked at it before.

However, it would be a lot easier if there was some way to change the
background for only the current day in the calendar - I want the current day
to stand out => a different background for that day only or a different
header colour.

At the moment the header color is a light yellow/orange - is there anway to
change this colour setting either in outlook or the registry?

Thanks
Mark

No, AFAIK the background color isn't adjustable for one specific day.
