calendar details missing after an office repair

hi all.

I'm helping a friend and something wierd has happened.
This is with a windows xp machine running office xp pro,
AE.

Word had been playing up so my friend did a detect/repair
on office. When it finished, Outlook had lost all
information. I found the outlook.pst file and imported
it, and all the contacts and email details are fine now.
The only problem is that for some reason the calendar
details are missing and the calendar is totally empty.

in the folder where all the files are kept as well as the
normal stuff are now two files that I haven't seen
before - outlook1.srs and outlook~1.srs

My friend runs his own business and the calendar is
essential for him as it records when he is seeing all his
clients.

Any help getting the calendar running again would be most
appreciated!!!

Finally got the thing fixed - thanks to all that emailed
me.
