C:\Windows\System32 foler Opens on login

Brad

Thanks for taking the time to read my question.

My problem is, everytime I log in under my profile, the
C:\Windows\System32 folder opens up. This is really
annoying! There is nothing in my start up menu.

Other profiles have not had the problem, but they are not
used nearly as much

I have run MSConfig and unchecked Load All Startup Items.

This works, but then nothing else starts up.

I have looked in the Startup tab for C:\Windows\System32
folder to be opened, but don't see anything. There are a
few items that are in the System32 folder that are to be
started.

I have deleted my profile and created a new one, then the
problem goes away... for a while.

Does anyone know a solution to my problem. I don't want
to delete my profile and recreate it again. I would also
like a solution other than running MSConfig and turning
off ALL startup programs (ie. anti virus software etc.)

Let me know if these are my only options or if there is
something else I can do.

Thanks again,

Brad
