C: drive not showing in My Computer

Attacked by spyware. My Computer shows only the G: from the printer's SD
slot, plus the shared documents folders. How did the program remove them
from the display?
Can't run regedit and several control panel items as the "System
Administrator" has prevented it.
Is there a simple way to recover after removing the spyware?

Simple way? Probably not. Since you didn't say what virus/malware you had or
how you removed it, I can't comment on how to recover or whether recovery
is actually possible. For all I know, your computer still isn't clean - and
that's what it sounds like.

Here is general malware removal information:

Include scanning with David Lipman's Multi_AV and follow instructions to do
all scans in Safe Mode.

You can also check to see if there are targeted removal steps for your
malware here:

If all else fails, either get guided help at one of the specialty forums
below OR back up your data and do a clean install of Windows. It is your
choice. If you are unsure how to back up your data or how to do a clean
install, you can take your machine to a local computer professional. I
don't recommend using BigComputerStore/GeekSquad types of places.
