Buttons will not work after converting PPTx into html

I have to post faculty powerpoints on our intranet as html. When I do the
buttons forward, back, etc don't work. What is the solution?

You might want to tell us which version of PowerPoint your using, and how
you inserted your buttons. also look here for solutions
