Buslink not showing in Windows Explorer

I have an
Buslink DL 40-U2, usb 2.0 Disk on the go/lite 40 gig

It has worked for a long time, now however, it connects but will not show up
in Windows Explorer. The fun part is that it quit working on my main XP
machine and my main 2000 machine. It will work with any other machine. I
thought that it might just need to be formatted, scanned and defragged. I did
that on a pc that would see it. Didn't change anything.
What I think I did was click on "do nothing" "always".

Does anyone know of a way to change the settings in my pc to reset this
option? I'm comfortable doing reg edits, just need to know what ones it would
be.

Thank you for any help that you can give.

I figured it out!!
In the event that someone else has this problem, I've documented the fix.

We connected the Buslink, then went into
Control panel
System Properties
Device Manager
Universal Serial bus controllers
Right clicked on EACH USB Root Hub
Scan for hardware changes.
Reboot
And it works!
